Aria Swarr

Aria is a visual storyteller who grew up between the Middle East and the U.S. She is passionate about crafting stories that speak to life's realities with insight, imagination, and compassion. She is a writer, producer, and director–collaborating with teams and organizations internationally. She is currently a producer on a feature documentary and writing screenplays. She holds an MFA in Documentary Film & Video from Stanford University, professional certification in fiction feature film screenwriting from UCLA, professional certification in entrepreneurial studies from Stanford Business School, and is a recipient of the Harvey Fellowship, SparkArts Grant, Enerson Production Grant, Recontextualizing Richmond Collaborative Arts Grant, Windrider Best Documentary Film Award, and has had films screen at multiple festivals and venues, from Big Sky Documentary Film Festival to the Israeli Parliament.
